  The pictoresque village on the west coast of Lanzarote offers the natural attraction of Charco de Los Clicos and beautiful panorama in the sea. The village is perfect to stay for lunch or dinner in one of the fish restaurant on the coast. Suggestive route to El Golfo, across the lavic desert on the tymanfaya park border.

  Nice town, very quiet out of tourist hours. Direct access to Timanfaya coastal walk with some spectacular view points on wave crashing on the volcanic rocks. Laguna Verde worth the visit, and a few decent fish restaurants.

  The El Siroco gift shop and reastarunt next to the car park is a hidden treasure.

  The reastarunt is at the back of the shop and overlooks the rocky sea shore. It has a €9 lunch menu which is outstanding.

  Breath taking views. We were lucky enough to be able to walk along the green lagoon couple of years back but you can still admire from the top now. Selection of nice restaurants, some of which offer you to be seated only few meters away from the Atlantic coast and enjoy some fresh catch from it. We keep going back every year.

  Very very crowded place, lots of tourists running around. No place to stay over night because when restaurants close, hundreds of cars leave, 2 hours later the restaurants personal leaves, and at 8 or 9 in the morning the first people enter el golfo and it starts over .. we won't stay there again .. still a nice place for a visit and a coffee con Leche, but that's it.
